Maharaja Dham Dev Singh, Maharaja Kam Dev Misir | Mir Baqi, Army General of Mughal emperor Babur |
There is popular belief that a Battle of Madarpur was fought between a small army of brothers named as Mahārāja Kām Dév Singh Sikarwar, Maharaja Dhām Dév Singh Sikarwar and Maharja Vikram Pratap Dev Singh and the Mughal commander Mir Baqi in 1528. The Mughals were led by Babur. The Mughals defeated and massacred the opposition ; the survivors migrated to other places in present-day Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
