Elections to Bedford Borough Council were held on 4 June 2009 as part of the 2009 United Kingdom local elections. This was the first election in the Borough of Bedford to the newly formed unitary authority council, with all 37 seats being up for election, elected in wards that matched the previous electoral divisions of Bedfordshire County Council.[1]
