Details
Can be used with Manual:Hooks/LoadExtensionSchemaUpdates to add additional database tables when maintenance/update.php is called.
Usage
$wgExtNewTables[] = array( 'tablename', 'schema_file.sql' );
Note that maintenance/update.php will replace /*_*/ with the value of $wgDBprefix.
For example:
CREATE TABLE /*_*/table_name ( //...
