This IDES2323 Task2 teardown assignment was done by industrial design student Yuanhang Yan. The item disassembled is the Schick - Hydro 5 Groomer Kit for Men, 4-In-1 Power Trimmer. This post will go into detail about the inner workings of this Groomer Kit.

The Shaver Part has a replaceable Razor head, just press the white button on the front and the Razor head comes off automatically.

Open the battery compartment of the Shaver Part begins with cutting the outer wrapping of silicone along the red line with a knife.

After removing the silicone layer you will see the internal battery compartment structure, next you just need to use a screwdriver to press down the metal part inside the red circle to remove the battery compartment smoothly.

The protective part of the Trimming part simply comes off by pushing your thumb along the red line position.
