Locate the battery cover on the right side of the bottom of the camera.

To open the cover, gently slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Once the battery cover door is open, insert the pointed end of a spudger underneath the metal door hinge.

Gently twist the spudger; the battery door cover should pop off.
