Introduction
If you have a lace frontal or lace closure wig that needs to be freshened up due to lace adhesive and excessive product in the hair, follow these simple steps.
Tools
- 
                  
                  - 
            Place your wig on the mannequin head and gently comb out the tangles starting from the ends all the way to the root before beginning the process.

            Fill a large bowl with warm to hot water. 
- 
            Add dish soap to create the soapy water to clean the residue out of the lace. 
 
- 
            
- 
                  
                  - 
            Place ONLY the lace frontal portion of the unit into the soap water. 
- 
            Allow it to soak for about 10-15 minutes. 
 
- 
            
- 
                  
                  - 
            Use a clean towel to gently rub the adhesive towards the edge of the lace to completely remove the adhesive. 
 
- 
            
- 
                  
                  - 
            Squeeze shampoo across the root to the ends to have an even amount of shampoo to wash the unit. 
- 
            Massage shampoo thoroughly through the entire unit. 
- 
            Rinse entire unit to prep for conditioning. 
- 
            Squeeze about pea size of conditioner into your finger tips. 
- 
            Massage the conditioner into the ends of the unit and continue up throughout the unit up to the root. 
- 
            Use a wide tooth comb or shower hair brush to distribute product evenly through the unit. 
- 
            Rinse conditioner out of unit thoroughly.

            Use a wide tooth comb or shower hair brush to detangle the unit again. 
- 
            Use a heat protectant and blow dry or place the unit on a mannequin head to air dry. 
 
-
