Introduction
This is a beginner’s guide to repairing a small hole in clothing by sewing. This technique is easy enough to complete even in a fashion emergency. However, be careful when handling a needle. Never lose sight of your needle and always place it back in a safe spot.
Tools

            Find the thread that matches the colour of the clothing you are going to repair.

            Measure and cut a piece of string a minimum of 20x the length of the hole.

            Pull the thread through until the length of both ends of the thread are the same length. 
- 
            Tie the ends in a double knot.

            Pinch the fabric to close the hole, and weave the needle back and forth through the pinch until the hole is sealed.
