    • During reassembly, make sure that the carrier is oriented so that its threaded hole lines up with the swing pin hole in the feed body.

    • During reassembly, clean the carrier and apply new grease before inserting it into the feed body.

    • Use a 3/16 inch hex wrench to remove the feed roller shaft.

    • It may be necessary to insert a thin screwdriver or hex wrench into the top end of the carrier to help hold the carrier while you loosen the feed roller shaft.

    • Remove the upper feed roller assembly, including the fiber disks on either side of it.
